She's not doing too well. My mom said that I need to prepare myself.

The doctors saw my grandma this morning and said she's not doing well at all. I'm glad I came to see her this weekend. The doctors said this was the biggest stroke that they have ever seen someone survive.

Hmm... let's see where to start.

1) I'm happy.

After a long battle with myself, I'm finally comfortable. I've got a little more chub to love than I'd like, but hey-- IT'S OKAY! Choir and school are keeping me busy. I'm so excited to go to MACCC in Frisco this year. I've been definitely pushing my vocal range and results are... surprising. Taking my aunt's voice class has helped me focus on my breathing, and my intonation/ear are getting even better. The lack of piano has made them a bit shabby.

Work is cool too. I'm fortunate to work for a company flexible enough to allow me to work around my school schedule. I just got a new comp and desk and stuff... it's exciting.

A couple weeks ago, I went out to dinner with Dan, Andrew, Grady, and Duane (this guy I went to highschool with) and it was soooo much fun. I've come to love Dan again as a friend, and it's really cool to know that I'm not "in love" with him anymore. He's struggling with his relationship/friendship with Dee and he knows he can call me to talk about it. I LOVE that.

In other news, my family is coming down to meet Andrew's family for Thanksgiving. Kathy and Andrew are supposed to join us at Disneyland at Wednesday too. So, that should be fun. I'm really excited/scared for this... it's been bound to happen, and I just hope my mom and grandma have fun. I really can't see anything bad happening, with my dad an my grandpa there, nor should I really be worrying about it.

Andrew and I sat down and talked the other day-- and we kinda set a goal for ourselves: to be well on our way with school and moved out together by summer 07. Which will give me plenty of time to save up money for the occassion.

for anyone who knows of anyone who's interested. It's in really good shape-- all the software is included... me and Andrew are buying a new one, so I just won't need anymore. It has a wireless PC card and stuff, so give me a holler if you want it.

iPODs are the best thing ever... I LOVE IT! I've been jacking everyone's music off of theirs and now have a collection of a 40 year old man. But-- that's OKAY TOO!

i have so much going on right now.. and i'm just majorly stressed. mostly financial stress. i hate asking my family to help me... but dang. i just put $700 down for a deposit (with mariam of course) on a new apartment.. and there are so many bills due. but i'm looking forward to this time next month when we'll be all settled into the house and chillin' on the money that's coming in. i'd like to take a special mention to andrew and his mom (some random guy that y'all don't know) because they wrote a check to pay for my choir tour today.... without me even asking. it was absolutely one of the sweetest things some has done for lately.

on to the announcements *drum roll*

i'm moving into a new two bedroom apartment complete with a pull out couch in the living room on the nineteenth of march and whoever wants to come visit and stay with me for a couple days can, and should. that was possibly the most run-on sentence i've ever written. the house is gonna be fuckin' cute as fuck. i will post pics as soon as the house is ready to have it's close up.

secondly... I'M COMING HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'll be home from the 31st to the 3rd. so.. let's PART-AY PEOPLE! i so wasn't even close to drunk enough last time... and we need to fix that.

i decided that it would be best to stop talking to dan. he's says he's in love with me AND dee and i don't think that i can deal with his shit right now (emotionally). so i told him i thought it'd be best we didn't talk. don't really want to go into it. i'm still sad about it though. there was obviously a lot more to that convo, but that shall remain unsaid for now.

i almost cried this morning when i left. i miss my family already. and when i say family-- i mean everyone i know in sacramento. got up super duper early today to drive back to long beach. 5:30 AM. i stayed out pretty late last night-- i was functioning on about 4 hours sleep. probably the reason i'm not in the best of sorts right now. i took pictures of the "snow on I-5 at grapevine". i hit some pretty nasty weather on the way back down. piss.

christmas was good. mom over charged for it though, so i told my dad that he didn't have to pay me back for the digital camera i bought.... i left hella shit in sac too. like the new 90's edition of trivial pursuits that my aunt for me. and this cute little "feng shoe" book candice bought me. and my new pajama pants.... eh. i'll get everything during spring break.

i can't believe it's almost 2005. in like 3 days and some odd hours. wow. anyways... that's all for now
